Greetings, my name is Wayne Ramm and I am the lead support worker for Trucareqld. I bring to the table nearly a decade of experience in the disability sector and possess extensive knowledge on mental health and intellectual disabilities.

Throughout my professional career, I have worked in various capacities, including forensic mental health for several years in the Northern Territory, as well as serving as a housing manager in SIL homes located in Alice Springs. Furthermore, I was the service delivery manager of the Endeavour Foundation in Brisbane, where I managed 3 SIL homes” and a day training centre located in Logan, Queensland.

I have obtained a Diploma in Community Service Case Management and completed my apprenticeship as a chef in Townsville in the 1990s and early 2000s, having worked in various local resorts. My professional background extends to Manchester, England, where I ran a hotel and travelled extensively overseas.

I am an avid enthusiast of fishing and 4WDing and a passionate supporter of Manly Warringah in the NRL. My experience of living in the remote Northern Territory for 12 years has provided me with a unique approach to working with CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) customers, recognizing their specific cultural and linguistic diversity needs.

With my diverse range of skills and experience, I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional support to those who require it. I take pride in my work and uphold a strong commitment to providing the highest standards of care to my clients.
